not the day


Olympic Games, Rio 2016. The national football team had a great opportunity to win the Olympic medal for the first time. However, the team didn’t perform well in the first game, and the fans weren’t happy about it.
On the last round of the group stage, Brazil was playing against the odds. Only a victory would qualify the team, but there was more at stake.

Minutes before the game, Nike posted on social media a manifesto reminding players and fans that the result wasn’t as important as long as we got our respect back. They won the game and, later on, the gold medal.
